Research Report: What is the value of citizen-generated data to Kenyan authorities?

Do citizen-centred accountability initiatives like Integrity Action’s have value for the service providers and duty-bearers, as well as for the citizens? How can data collected by ordinary community members be of use to local governments? This research explores these questions in the context of the Yetu initiative, implemented in Kenya through the Aga Khan Foundation and supported by USAID, and the report presents the views of public officials in Nakuru and Mombasa counties. This research was conducted by iDC.
